FAQ : renewals and contracts

Do you notify me by email before my offer comes up for renewal ?

Yes, you receive several emails inviting you to renew your offer before the expiry date. The emails are sent according to the following schedule and based on the solution's anniversary date : 2 months before, 1 month before, 15 days before, the day before and on the anniversary date.

When will I receive my renewal invoice ?

After having paid for your renewal you will automatically receive your invoice via email in a PDF format. If you do not receive anything on the same day, check your junk mail. If the problem persists, please contact the team.

Do I have to give notice to cancel my contract ?

No, you can stop using our services at any time. However, no refund will be made for the remaining days of the rental period (either for a new purchase or the renewal of a solution).

What do I have to do to cancel ?

You do not have to do anything. Just ignore emails inviting you to renew your solution and your offer will automatically end on the solution's expiry date.

Do the contracts have a tacit renewal clause ?

No, if you decide not to renew your solution the contract will automatically end on the expiry date.

How do I renew my offer ?

There are several ways. Qual.IT regularly sends you emails inviting you to renew your solution. In each email you will find a link giving you direct access (after authentication in your private space) to the renewal process of the solution in question. You can also, at any time, renew your solutions via your private space ("my VPS" tab, "solution renewal" link).

What happens if I do not renew my offer ?

Your virtual server will be automatically blocked and become impossible to access. You will have 15 extra days in which you can renew your solution without losing any data ; during this time you can export the contents of your environment at no extra cost. Beyond this delay your virtual machine will be permanently deleted and it will no longer be possible to access its contents.
